I don’t know if it’s because there is a Supermoon Lunar Eclipse coming up or something is in alignment somewhere because these shows proved that these designers have ascended to a new level of fashion greatness!
Today’s standout NYFW SS16 shows featured:
– Buddhist monks chanting at opening of Prabal Gurung’s serene collection of slinky separates in cools shades of white and orange with an outstanding metallic copper creation with plunging neckline;
– The most delightfully colorful color-block gowns I have seen ever at Georgine;
– Lovely variations of the shirt-dress and the chicest pants at Derek Lam along with a welcome sea of diversity on the runway; and
– New York’s finest, Public School, sending sophisticated layers in shades of white, navy and black down their Snarkitecture designed runway.
Highlights from two power-house NYFW SS16 shows: Jason Wu and the 10th anniversary of Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy!
The architectural lines of Son Jung Wan, the delicious garden shades of Monique Lhuillier and the outstanding prints of Noon by Noor made for an excellent day at NYFW!
World Poetry Slam Champion, Harry Baker, is included in this video celebration of London Fashion Week‘s move to Soho.
