I could start this off any number of ways, “Once upon a time…”, “All good things…”, “When I was…” but really I am just utterly grateful and thankful to be able to write these words and post them as the first entry on my own blog. It is profoundly moving to see what I have dreamed about for years come into existence. So to that end, this first post is dedicated to saying “Thank You”.
My journey here would not have been possible without a group of people I was very lucky to meet through a social media marketing Twitter chat called BMGchat started by the great people at the Bread Media Group. They welcomed me, laughed at all my bad 140 character jokes, offered support and got me through some difficult times with their wit, knowledge and their dedication to engagement. I am going to post separate entries for all of them so that they get the recognition they deserve.

Of course, the great family and friends who have supported me way before I ventured into social media marketing deserve recognition. They listened to my endless raves and rants about the world of social media with endless patience and encouraged me to pursue an interest that had turned into a passion.

Then there is Luke Henry – meeting him through BMGchat has literally changed my life. He channeled Yoda and told me “Do or Do Not…” He propelled me into taking action and insisted I not give up. He is the architect of this blog and a true friend.
