Upcoming Event – WANTEDDesign 2014
WANTEDDesign, the inspirational and energetic platform for the design community, students, the media, design institutions, and design lovers alike, takes place May 16th-19th in NYC.
Adding fresh direction to this year’s show, programs will follow the daily themes of Design Around the World, Designing, Making, Transforming, and What’s Next in the U.S.A.?, with each day featuring supporting conversations.
Beyond the talks, set to take place in Grimshaw’s Conversation Room, and the show’s nearly 60+ exhibitors, attendees can preview prototype products in the Launch Pad and check out the visionary outcomes from the Design Schools Workskhop – “The Future of Paper”– that includes participating schools from around the world.
Part of NYCxDESIGN, WANTEDDesign will officially open on Friday, May 16th, to press, bloggers, interior designers, and VIPs. All programs take place during the three days from May 17th to May 19th at the Terminal Stores – The Tunnel, 269 11th Avenue, between 27th and 28th streets in New York City.
The event is free to the trade (registration required); general public ($20 online, $25 at the door).
