Day 1 Update via London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week opens this morning with an opening breakfast hosted by BFC Chairman Natalie Massenet MBE & Peter Fitzgerald who will give an insight into the BFC’s Digital Strategy.

Today we will be live streaming 7 of the shows including J. JS Lee, Eudon Choi & Christopher Raeburn. Watch them live herethroughout the day.

Events on Day 1 of LFW include the Maybelline Party hosted by Jourdan Dunn & the launch of the Club Monaco Flagship store.

The Designer Showrooms will host the BFC Headonism//Wedgwood drinks reception from 4-6pm as well as the NEWGEN pop-up showroom featuring Faustine Steinmetz from 3-7pm.

The Funeral Portrait Premiere New Song/Lyric Video and Announce Upcoming Tour
FROM THE DEBUT EP FOR THE DEARLY DEPARTED AVAILABLE ON 9/23(Atlanta, GA) – Five-piece rock band The Funeral Portrait has partnered withAbsolutePunk.net to premiere their new song “Wax Poetic” off their debut EP For The Dearly Departed. The quintet announced earlier this month that they signed a deal with North Carolina record label Revival Recordings (owned by Shawn Milke ofAlesana). The six song EP was produced by Milke and engineered/mixed by Neil Engle at Adelaide Recording Studios in Raleigh.“Producing The Funeral Portrait record was an incredible experience,” says Milke. “It is so refreshing to be around a band that has a vision and is willing to put in the hard work and go the extra mile to bring that vision to life. Signing them was a no-brainer for me. The sky is truly the limit for TFP.”The Funeral Portrait guitarist/vocalist Juergie Landstrom adds “Working with Shawn and Neil was by far the most comfortable experience I’ve ever had in the studio. Shawn pushes us to be the best version of ourselves and that’s one of many reasons why we are all so proud of this EP.
