(Atlanta, GA) – Five-piece rock band The Funeral Portrait has partnered withAbsolutePunk.net to premiere their new song “Wax Poetic” off their debut EP For The Dearly Departed. The quintet announced earlier this month that they signed a deal with North Carolina record label Revival Recordings (owned by Shawn Milke ofAlesana). Signing them was a no-brainer for me. The sky is truly the limit for TFP.”

The Funeral Portrait guitarist/vocalist Juergie Landstrom adds Working with Shawn and Neil was by far the most comfortable experience I’ve ever had in the studio. Shawn pushes us to be the best version of ourselves and that’s one of many reasons why we are all so proud of this EP. I’m super excited to show everyone the final product.”
