Haute Couture SS15: Giambattista Valli
The Giambattista Valli SS15 Haute Couture woman is one that wants her couture elegant, sophisticated and guaranteed to make an impression. Layers of tulle, trousers and fierce floral prints in shades of pink, grey, white and black as well as fluorescent green sauntered down the runway.
Along with the longline silhouettes, the super-positions of dresses and trousers, the light and floaty gowns with frills and ruffs, there were also short, youthful flared dresses which completed this couture floral bouquet.

Haute Couture SS15: Chanel
The Chanel Haute Couture SS15 collection took place in a Karl Lagerfeld imagined couture “Garden of Eden” full of beautiful animated flowers with design-related elements that made them look as if they came straight out of Design Miami installation.
Daywear included suits with smart décolletage, modern silhouettes in cool shades of green, blue, pink and red and midi length skirts both narrow with sexy slits and full with floral appliqués. Eveningwear is the hallmark of haute couture and Chanel did not disappoint with 3D floral embroidery and a wedding dress that the haute couture aficionado would die for, as Lagerfeld says:
..For example, my god, for the train on the wedding dress, it took 15 girls 1 month to create just one train. There was a girl from the Middle East who came with her mother to order it, 10 minutes ago and I’m telling you it’s not cheap…

Haute Couture SS15: Valentino
Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli closed the SS15 Haute Couture collections with a Valentino show offering a multitude of dazzling dreamy silhouettes in tulle, silver lamé, brushed velvet in dark and subtle tones and detailed embroideries that harken to more ancients times.
There is no doubt that they love what they do as messages of love were also included in this floating collection.
